Aida Garifullina is one of the most celebrated sopranos of our time. A soloist of the Vienna State Opera and the Metropolitan Opera in New York, she has graced the world’s most prestigious stages — La Scala, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden,
the Paris Opera, the Arena di Verona, and the Salzburg Festival.

Born in Kazan, Russia, she trained at the Nuremberg University of Music and won the legendary Operalia competition founded by Plácido Domingo launching an international career that has since taken her to every major opera house on the planet.
She has performed alongside Andrea Bocelli, Plácido Domingo, and Juan Diego Flórez.

and been featured on the covers of Vogue and Tatler.

Founded in 1987, the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra is the only professional symphony orchestra in Cyprus.

A national cultural symbol under the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation, the 40-member CySO performs over 80 concerts a year and has toured across Europe — Germany, the UK, France, Denmark, Serbia, and Greece.
